Yeah, that’s exactly what I said at 11:59pm last night I got into bed and realized that I hadn’t written a blog post. So I have officially failed at NaBloPoMo. I wish I could say that I was doing something amazingly exciting and fun, but I spent the day painting, then BBQing some burgers for dinner then watching a bunch of Twin Peaks episodes on DVD. Then collapsing into bed. And not blogging.
But I think I’ll be ok. So I won’t have the smug sense of satisfaction at the end of the month. And probably I’m not eligible for any prizes now. But that’s ok, because you know what?
ILLUSION AVENUE WON THE RISING STAR SEARCH COMPETITION FRIDAY NIGHT!
*ahem*
No seriously, they did. They beat out everyone and pulled it off, it was stunning to watch them work their magic onstage. Again.
So there is a recording session at the famed Grant Avenue Studios in their future as well as a bunch of other stuff. So proud of those guys.
So yeah. Doesn’t make up for the fact that I didn’t blog yesterday, does it? How about I give you two today? It’s worth a shot, right?
