Suddenly summer?

Man, I don’t know about you but I kind of miss spring.  Seriously, it was 8C last week, and now all of a sudden it’s 29C feeling like 38C with humidity?  Wha’?  Crazy weather.  Not complaining though, not at all.  It’s kind of reminding me of Miami weather – which, by the way was amazing and I will post some photos soon – but in Miami we didn’t have to, you know, go to work and stuff.  And the hotel and everything else was air conditioned – perfectly.  They know how to take care of that down there, let me tell you.  Our house, currently, does not have air conditioning.  We had a nice little window unit, but it died suddenly last year, and we have yet to replace it.  Because we crazily thought that maybe we’d have some warning before we were launched full-on into the heat of summer?  Because it was so cold for so long we thought we wouldn’t need cooling every again?  Yeah to both of those, actually.  We are not so good at the planning ahead.

However, I for one am embracing the heat and humidity – embracing it, I tell you!  My hair, though?  Not so much.  Once my hair gets its act together, though I am golden.  Huzzah.
